Dogs are born to be people-pleasers. They want to make their humans feel loved and valued. And they always stay loyal to them. And a pooch named Crimson is not an exception.
Kyndra Pickens, Crimson’s owner, said that her dog’s personality was outgoing toward people. She added that Crimson loved people more than she loved other dogs and that she would do anything for some attention, food, and love.
It was Crimson’s attitude that made her befriend a neighbor. This led to a friendship filled with warmth and of course, lots of pets!
Crimson, the dog by the fence
When the pandemic started and everyone was forced to stay home, Kyndra and her family noticed that Crimson had been spending a lot of time by the hole in their backyard’s fence. However, this wasn’t a simple coincidence. It was found out later on that the neighbor had been petting the dog through the hole.
Susan, the family’s neighbor, lived alone. So, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided to comfort herself by hanging out with the dog through the fence. Of course, the pup was more than willing to participate.
Kyndra said that her family knew Susan even before she started petting Crimson. But the family loved her even more when they discovered her friendship with the dog. Furthermore, Kyndra mentioned that the family felt good about how Crimson gave Susan a bright spot in her day.
The netizens have found this sweet
A video of Crimson waiting for her friend by the fence was uploaded to YouTube. There, it received more than 42K views and a lot of positive comments.
One said that she found the video very sweet. Another commenter said that friendship could overcome any barriers.
Crimson was happy to get any chance to spend time with people. And her loved ones were also thrilled that she was able to make new friends in a very unexpected way.
