Getting treats is something that all dogs dream of. They would rarely say no to exciting snacks given to them, and this curly-haired Cocker Spaniel is an example.
He was captured on film doing something hilarious, and it all happened because he couldn’t wait to taste his treat. The tidbit happened to be cheese, so we could understand why this dog salivated.
The hilarious dog couldn’t stop smacking his lips in anticipation of the delicious snack. His eyes zeroed in on the snack, never letting it out of his sight. If he tries to deny this, we have this clip as proof.
Mom naturally wanted to get this situation going a bit longer, so she asked her dog to give her a high-five first. The dog complied, but his eyes remained glued on the cheese waiting for him.
All this time, the canine’s tongue darted in and out of his mouth, and we could just imagine the self-control at work there. This pet’s self-discipline is strong, and what a show of respect to his hooman!
Mom finally decided to reward her well-behaved dog, handing out a chunky cheese to her waiting pet. As expected, the cheese disappeared in one gulp, and we’re not surprised at all.
That rapid-fire lip-smacking is all we needed to see and understand just how much this doggo wanted that treat. Even after gobbling one down, the pet’s gaze never left the container in mom’s hands.
His behavior kind of reminded us of when we were kids. We wanted those Twinkies so bad that we couldn’t tear our gazes off of it. We were afraid if we did, our most-coveted snack would disappear.
