Tinker, a Boxer-Old English Bulldog mix, came from an unwanted litter of puppies. Luckily for her, she didn’t end up being abandoned on the streets because the old couple who owned her dog-parents put her up for adoption instead. They posted her photo on Craigslist, an online classified advertisement site, and that’s how she met her new mom, Amanda.
Amanda immediately fell in love with the puppy’s wrinkly little face. She knew at that very second that it was meant to be her dog. After picking it up from the old couple in a church parking lot, she brought it home right away.
Now 4 years of age, Tinker is pretty much a full-grown dog. She knows what she wants and she’ll do anything to get whatever pleases her. But while toys and treats can pretty much amuse her, there’s nothing in this world she likes most than to spend time with her mom.
Tinker adores her mom to the moon and back. She keeps a really close eye on her and she ascertains that Amanda is safe no matter the time of the day. She is her mom’s keeper and she proves it every day.
Spending time with her mom is most precious to Tinker, but she’s never ok with simply having Amanda around. She has to have her paw touching her mom’s hand 100% of the time. She also checks on her now and then to make sure her mom doesn’t go anywhere without her.
Tinker is a certified velcro dog and she demands to be with her mom all the time. She whines like a seal if she doesn’t see her even for a second. Even when her mom is working, she will insist on playing with Amanda and she will stop at nothing just to get her mom’s full attention.
A lot of people think Tinker is a sad dog because of how she looks. But in reality, she’s sunny, euphoric, and festive. She knows how to have fun and she makes sure to share her joy with her mom and with everyone else in her neighborhood.
Amanda starts and ends her day with her dog. Tinker is everything to her. No matter how tiring life gets, she knows that her pup will always make things a lot easier.
