Some people adopt a dog to learn how to be responsible, while others get one for emotional reasons. Indeed, getting a dog is a life-changing event. We cannot deny that dogs are always a blessing in our lives. And the touching story of this man and his furry companion is a perfect example of how dogs are heaven-sent.
When Christopher McCarron’s son passed away, he was in so much grief and misery. To help him move forward and cope with his loss, he decided to adopt a dog. He immediately contacted their local animal shelter, the Dog’s Trust Center, and personally visited the place to look for his perfect dog match.
A puppy was what he had in mind, but somehow, fate had other plans for him. He coincidentally met Jack, a precious six-year-old Rottweiler. Jack happens to be a guard dog, but fortunately, the pooch didn’t show any signs of aggressiveness.
Jack was sweet and friendly. His playfulness was the first thing that caught Christopher’s attention. He decided to adopt Jack.
But adopting the rottweiler was not the only beautiful thing that happened in the shelter. When the two made their way out, they unexpectedly bumped into a lady named Margaret. She was visiting the sanctuary too. The pair started a conversation and ended with Christopher’s promise of informing Margaret once he had brought Jack home.
It didn’t take long before they knew they were falling in love. They got engaged, and on their wedding day, they both agreed to make Jack their best man.
However, they didn’t expect Jack to steal the limelight when he accidentally sneezes right in the middle of the ceremony. Everyone thought it was funny. And so, the couple agreed that the sneeze is an indication of approval, which certainly made their wedding a little more special.
