Being forced to stay indoors can get old for some time, especially with limited options for entertainment. Some people tried different ways of providing color to combat their lockdown blues. For some, sharing heartwarming and feel-good videos are the must-do during this global lockdown.
One particularly adorable bulldog named Bogart was captured on video while staring outside through a wooden fence. The owner, Ranveig Levinsen, made a couple of holes on the fence wall and painted a king and a jester on the other side, reminiscent of those found in amusement parks.
Bogart, the smallest in a litter of 8 puppies, has a unique personality and mischievous sense of humor. His dog mama, Winston, lives with him and usually accompanies him while he indulges in his favorite pastime of people-watching.
This 4-year-old pup loved staring out into the street through the fence holes. Their house was right by a crowded street where foot traffic was pretty heavy. So naturally, Bogart would become curious and peek outside.
Seeing the dog’s head pop out from the fence hole was genuinely hilarious. It was Ranveig’s idea to paint the other side of the fence, similar to those funny photo stands where kids would have their pictures taken. Her daughter did the actual painting, having settled on a king’s costume and a jester’s hat.
Ever since Bogart went viral, people would often reach out to Ranveig and gush about her dog. A lot of people were amused by how goofy Bogart looks as he sticks his head out the hole. All the attention was a bit overwhelming, but Ranveig appreciated the outpouring of love for her silly fur baby.
Bogart’s video clip was reshared and garnered thousands of likes. As it turns out, this bulldog became a viral sensation in Denmark and was also featured on the Instagram profile of one of the country’s biggest influencers.
