The global lockdown forced most people to work from home. Spare rooms at home, if any, became makeshift offices and workspaces. Even office fashion experienced a downward turn, from skirts and trousers to pajamas and shorts.
Several celebrities have also transferred most of their work to their own homes. One such personality was Jimmy Fallon.
Without his usual studio setup and production crew, the late-night talk show host had to make do on his own. He set up his camera and did his best to produce his private home show. He even managed to invite special guests to grace his show.
Gary, Jimmy’s adorable dog, has made regular appearances in both Jimmy’s home show and social media accounts. The pooch probably had no idea why she was suddenly seeing a lot of her dad these days, not that she was complaining. Jimmy even created a particular segment for him and his pooch named ‘Jimmy Talks With Gary.’
Their hilarious skit featured the two sitting side by side, catching up on each other’s lives by answering a series of questions. Mostly it was Jimmy interviewing Gary, with the dog snapping back her sassy retorts.
Jimmy asked Gary if she was happy that he was home all the time now. Gary responds, with her voice dubbed over, a quick ‘yeah’ but then followed up with asking when he was going to go back to the office. The dog seemed to set the tone for this amusing Q&A.
Still trying to keep a positive note to their chat, Jimmy asked again if she had seen shows that were any good lately. Gary replied that she was watching a new show called ‘Squirrel Outside The Window.’ It appears this particular ‘show’ was a massive hit for dogs worldwide.
What took the cake was Gary’s reply to Jimmy’s all-important question, who was her favorite family member. Gary replied without missing a beat, ‘Nancy. Boom, that was easy.’
This interview didn’t go Jimmy’s way, for sure.
