It’s incredible to see dogs support each other and champion each other’s cause. That’s a given, but have you ever seen dogs behave in a selfish manner?
This Golden Retriever named Bailey certainly did. His German Sheperd brother wanted to share a couch, but Bailey wasn’t up for it.
Bailey’s known for his calm and giving demeanor, but on this day, he felt like he had to have some time for himself. He felt like having the couch all to himself was the way to go.
We understand because we’ve had days like that. It’s not a question of wanting to share, it’s a question of having something to enjoy all to ourselves.
This Golden Retriever was plopped down on a nude-colored couch. Bailey enjoyed its softness, so he parked himself right there. On the floor, his GSD brother looked up at his golden sib.
Normally, Bailey would invite his bro up, but the golden was not in the mood that day. The GSD wondered what Bailey felt because he didn’t behave the way he usually did.
The GSD took it slow and approached Bailey carefully. He moved closer to his golden brother and finally, he stood up on his hind legs to ask permission to join him on the couch.
Bailey snarled his response, and that must have been a shocker to his German Shepherd sibling. This time, the golden pet wanted the couch all to himself, and no amount of asking changed his mind.
You’ll have your time, doggo. Let Bailey have his fill with the couch so that when it’s your turn, you’d have it all for yourself too. It’s actually healthy this way.
