A store owner reached out to a rescuer named Elli. According to her, a man walked up to her store and informed her that a dog was abandoned outside. She later found out through the security cameras that the man lied. The man who reported the dog was the man who left him there.
Elli immediately responded to the shop owner’s report and took the dog. She named the dog Trap. Trap was very anxious, and Elli was a little concerned because she did not know his temperament.
She learned more about him when she brought her to Instinct Dog Training. It is simply is a training facility for canines. There they found out that he had severe muscle atrophy and severe hip dysplasia.
Trap never attacked anybody or became aggressive even when he was in pain. This meant that his temperament was very good.
Elli had to leave him there since he needed to be trained. She visited him after a couple of days, and she was very happy to see the progress. She noticed that Trap knew her because he immediately greeted her. He was wagging his tail as he ran towards her.
It showed that Trap was starting to get comfortable with everybody. It surely was not the only good news that day. Elli found Kristin, who was a potential foster mom for Trap.
Kristin was willing to take care of Trap and make him her first foster. Kristin shortly found out how sweet of a dog Trap was. He was a huge canine, but he was truly a lap dog as he would always want to cuddle with his mom.
Knowing this information delighted Elli. She was happy she found Trap a home. She was also grateful to Kristin for taking Trap in because she saw how much Kristin adored him. Everything turned out great for this once-abandoned Pitbull.
