Animal Aid Unlimited, India, a nonprofit animal rescue organization in the country, received a call about a severely injured puppy that needed immediate help. Quickly, a group of rescuers headed out to save the puppy. They didn’t know what exactly happened to the little guy but they knew they had to rush.
The puppy, now named Trinket, is a beloved pet of a family. He doesn’t have siblings but his dog momma is always by his side. She is his everything and she cherishes him the most.
Trinket and his momma lived sufficiently and harmoniously until a tragic accident occurred. No one saw it happen but when he showed up one day wounded, his owners assumed he was hit by a car. Some neighbors, however, believed that someone purposely hurt him.
The poor puppy was completely covered with blood and he was certainly in agonizing pain. He bled profusely from the mouth and there was nothing he or his dog mom managed to do to ease his discomfort. He simply lay down on the ground while she desperately waited for help to arrive.
As soon as she spotted the rescuers outside their yard, the frantic momma dog whimpered. She was happy that, at last, they came to save her baby. At the same time, she was frightened because she understood the severity of her baby’s injury.
The momma dog led the way and showed the rescuers where they can find her baby. She watched them as they placed Trinket in a travel crate. She wanted to be with him but she knew that they’d do everything for him so they simply let them do what they needed to do.
Trinket suffered from a fractured jaw, which was why he bled extensively. Luckily, because of his young age, his injury healed pretty quickly. He needed to be syringe-fed at first but he managed to eat on his own again a few weeks later.
Thanks to the utmost care he received, Trinket utterly recovered in no time. He was back to his playful and happy self so his rescue friends decided he was ready to go home. He was joyful to reunite with his mom, but she was more delighted to have him whole again.
