Sadly, not all public places are pet-friendly.
Pet owners must check the venue first if pets are allowed to avoid problems. Establishment administrators have various reasons for not allowing pets in the vicinity: pets destroy property, pets have a particular scent, and pets have a tendency to be aggressive, among others. While it can break the hearts of pet owners that they cannot bring their favorite four-legged companions, it is also understandable that it is for the safety of everyone.
An NFL player also experienced the same hassle; the wedding venue that he and his fianceè chose does not allow pets, so he has to make a last-minute decision to change venues.
NFL football star Jeremy Zuttah, an offensive lineman of Baltimore Ravens, and his wife Heran Haile, adopted Ace, a pitbull, when they were still students at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, almost a decade ago.
Jeremy and Heran are both dog lovers, supporters of the “adopt, don’t shop” movement, and pitbull advocates. They decided to include Ace as part of the entourage. The couple wanted their beloved dog to witness their union. Ace’s presence at the wedding is a non-negotiable for the couple.
When Jeremy and Heran found out that the City Hall doesn’t allow dogs inside the building, they immediately decided to change the venue even if it was done at the last minute. Luckily, the gym near the city hall was happy to accommodate Ace during the event.
It was the happiest and most memorable moment for Jeremy and Heran! The venue looked stunning and the lights were perfect. The couple was also delighted that Ace witnessed their union. Ace walked down the aisle on the wedding day wearing a custom-made dog tuxedo.
Congratulations and best wishes, Jeremy and Heran! Continue to more memories with Ace!
