Jealousy is a common phenomenon when it comes to couples. However, is it something that dog couples feel too? They do get jealous and become possessive at some point too. Here’s a story that reveals what happens when a dog gets jealous.
The story starts with a mini-bichon named Tishoo. He’s very energetic and active around the house. He also a housemate named Som, who is a female cat. The place where Tishoo lives is usually peaceful until his so-called girlfriend visits him.
Tishoo has a girlfriend named Posom, who is a Maltese. As soon as Posom enters the place, she begins searching for something. She smells something that she doesn’t like. It turns out, the smell she didn’t like was coming from the cat, Som.
Posom often barks at the cat. She doesn’t like her presence. However, Som ignores her completely. Tishoo doesn’t want to go near his girlfriend while she’s angry.
Tishoo and Posom often go to a pet cafe. Whenever they do, Tishoo always has a good time. However, sometimes the fun gets ruined when Posom starts to get jealous.
Tishoo’s owner allows him to roam freely at the cafe’s backyard while still wearing a leash. It’s not something the owners usually do. In Tishoo’s case, there’s a particular reason for it.
Whenever Tishoo tries to play with another dog at the cafe, Posom will run towards Tishoo and grab his leash. Her jealousy is over the top. Sometimes she will even instigate a fight with any dog that tries to get close to Tishoo.
Posom and Tishoo’s owners believe that their dogs are in a loving relationship. They plan to continue allowing them to be together. They both wish that Tishoo doesn’t cheat on his girlfriend so she won’t get upset.
This scenario is an interesting example of how owners have inserted human concepts to dogs. Tishoo and Posom might not know what the concept of a romantic relationship is. Still, their closeness may imply that they have a deep connection or bond.
