Thousands of years ago, we only asked our doggos to watch over our things and help us hunt animals for food. Nowadays, our puppers are still following what we tell them to do, but some of the commands that we are giving them are pretty trivial, to be honest.
What we’ve noticed, however, is that as time passed, dog owners have found creative ways to showcase their dogs’ obedience, just like the pupper in the viral clip below.
This Golden Retriever is Arrow. She belongs to Amelia Saad, a student from Augusta, Georgia. The dog mom is pretty proud of her pooch because her fur baby can pretty much do all of the basic tricks that doggos can do.
However, instead of posting a video of Arrow doing simple parlor tricks, Amelia thought of a creative way to show the world how talented her fur baby is. She decided to make Arrow her official photographer! Luckily, the doggo doesn’t need to attend photography classes. All that she needs to do is sit and stay.
In the clip below, Amelia told her pupper to sit, and she let the doggo hold her mobile phone in her mouth. The dog mom put her phone on “selfie mode” so that she could see herself on the screen. She also set a timer so that she can have a few seconds to prepare and strike a pose. Amelia then told Arrow to stay as she walked back for the picture.
The phone’s timer turned zero and Amelia’s photo is automatically taken without Arrow having to press anything. The photo looked pretty good and it’s impressive how the pupper sat perfectly still. It turns out that Arrow is also Amelia’s tripod on top of being her photographer.
But most importantly, Arrow is Amelia’s service dog. The 20-year-old student is suffering from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome which means from time to time, the dog mom gets dizzy and faints. Arrow’s job is to protect her from falling and hurting herself. Is there anything that this doggo can’t do?
