Paws With A Cause is an association that helps veterans find the perfect service dog for them. This organization has partnered with a dog daycare provider called Dogtopia. Dogtopia is a daycare for dogs where one of their services is dog grooming.
Their program has a straightforward concept. Dog owners can bring their dogs and have them washed. It is donation-based, so it is up to the dog owner on the amount that they give. A representative was present to supervise the program.
A representative from Paws With A Cause named Kevin Stone was there with his dog Mambo. Kevin was a veteran who had trouble transitioning from his military life to his normal life. He was injured during his service, and he needed help when it came to his mobility.
It was Paws With A Cause that matched him with Mambo. Mambo has been such a big help to him, which made him very impressed with the organization. He became an active partner because of Mambo.
His job was to travel all around the world to help veterans transition back to their everyday life. He was very proud to say that the organization has been in the industry for ten years. People like himself have helped thousands of veterans.
He had acknowledged the help of dogs when it came to a person’s healing. This was why he was very hands-on in spreading awareness about their organization. They still have many dogs that needed to be trained and get matched to a particular veteran.
Their partnership with Dogtopia was one way of raising more funds, so more dogs get trained. They have a lot of different types of service dogs. Some are for mobility, others are for seizures, and they even have a service dog for people with autism.
Kevin is looking forward to making their organization bigger. With Mambo’s help, he will be able to do that because Mambo is always there to guide him through his journey.
